In June 2012 I had a retinal detachment, and of course I had to go through the gas bubble and keeping my head down bit, a real pain. After it sort of healed, I had a massive floater in the eye. Two months later, pop, another retinal detachment. This time I had a vitrectomy to fix it and this required two weeks of the face down gas bubble, a true nightmare.
The vitrectomy created a juicy cataract which I had operated on last week. My vision is very hazy but I can see everthing is bending. Like looking at the corner of a wall, it snakes up to the ceiling. Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal?
