Went to eye doctor to get new glasses r ded up having cataract surgery on both eyes nearly completely blind now

I feel like the sheep being led to slaughter by allowing them to do the surgery. Wish I had walked out and found a doctor that would prescribe me a pair of glasses. I just feel wronged by the entire experience and now severe loss of sight. Is there any recourse available to me now? My right eye looks like a volcano that has erupted
