I was assured that the surgery would lower my eye pressure after I had glaucoma surgery. My vision was good before surgery. Just needed glasses for reading. After surgery, my eye pressure was much higher than before surgery and my eyesight is terrible in that eye. I have no peripheral vision. The doctor tried all types of drops but did not lower eye pressure. I am a carpenter and I cannot see how to screw something in. After 6 months of no change, I went to another doctor & he did laser surgery and the pressure went down right away. I don't know if anything can be done to improve my vision, but if I had known my vision would be gone, I would not have surgery. I wish I had grounds to sue her.
