Possible lens implant problem

by John W
(Clearwater Florida)

I had cataract surgery in one eye with a corrective lens implant. When I run long distances, my vision in that eye becomes very foggy, almost to the point to where I can't see very well. After a couple hours after the run, my vision returns to normal. I never had that before until I had this surgery. I am reluctant to have the other eye done for fear that I will be in the woods (I am a trail runner) and won't be able to see. What could be wrong?

Older long distance runners

Is it possible that by the time an older person needs cataract surgery that they should no longer be running long distances?
