In January the vision in my right eye went blurred literally overnight, for 5 months I was going to the eye clinic at the hospital and had tests, scans etc, as I have a macular hole in my left eye. It meant I couldn't read, write watch TV or drive and at the time I was having to travel 40 miles daily for radiotherapy, so frustrating having to go by bus or relying on someone to drive me. Eventually they booked me in for a cataract and surprise while having this they found I had a torn retina (only took 5 months) so ended up taking 2 hours while fully awake. However I can now read without specs which I hadn't been able to do for 30 years. The downside is that I can't drive at night as the lights on the lamp posts splay down almost to the ground and white writing on a black background on TV reflects underneath, has anyone else had this problem and know if it will improve given time?
