(New York )
At first after cataract removal in my left eye (the right eye was done 10 years ago) my vision
was greatly improved. Distance especially: clear and sharp. But 10 days later distance vision (TV etc.) became distorted: missing parts of faces, narrowing of objects, waviness of images - general lack of clarity.
I do have an epiretinal membrane condition in both eyes & have had for some time. Also the early signs of macular degeneration.
However things seemed quite sharp and clear in the first week after the left eye cataract had been removed.
What can I expect? Will any of this clear up on its own? Or will laser procedure or further surgery be necessary?
