My mom had cataract in her right eye but due to her negligence after 4 years decided to have the surgery to remove it. She had the surgery about 2 weeks ago and it was unsuccessful. She had her heart monitor during the surgery of "3" which i believe it means a severe complication that can have a heart attack. So the surgery was stopped and the surgery didn't proceed because the cataract somehow went behind the eye which never happened to him before. The electrocardiogram before the surgery started was normal. Now we have to go to another doctor and another electrocardiogram was done and was told that she needs a pacemaker before they can do anything on the eye. The doctor that performed the eye surgery has refunded a partial amount due to unsuccessful procedure. Sometimes I ask myself: did the doctor do what he needed to do or did he miss a procedure?
I don't know what to do. Thanks, Rosa
