Supplements that may be beneficial:

Benfotiamine - blocks 3 of the 4 AGE (advanced glycation end products) pathways.

Grapeseed extract, citrus bioflavonoides with Vit. C - strengthens capilaries.

Diatomaceous earth (food grade) - lowers blood pressure.

Zeaxanthin - good for the macula of the eye which is responsible for central vision and seeing fine detail.

Lutein - good for the retina of the eye.

Coenzyme Q10 - necessary for the basic functioning of cells.

B-Complex Vitamins with methyl B12 as it is more biologically available.

Multivitamins/Calcium

Acetyl L-Carnitine and Alpha Lipoic Acid

I take a few other supplements as well, but these are the main ones that focus on my eyes and on controlling my diabetes which is essential to eye health.

Both my eyes have been stable for over 2 years and my vision has improved. I only hope it continues!
