I am a 64 year old female. I had cataract surgery on my right eye. The day after surgery my vision was 20/30. Shortly after surgery, I noticed shadows under letters and numbers. Today I went in for a one month follow-up appointment. My vision had decreased to 20/50 and I still have shadows under letters and numbers. The surgeon said that the lens could have shifted some in the healing process. It can be corrected with glasses or lasik can be used to improve the vision if I don't want to wear glasses. I am completely disappointed with my results. Should I be OK with his explanation? Should I get a second opinion?
