Complication six weeks after cataract surgery

by Pariz Mirdamadi

I have done the cataract surgery six weeks ago. I still do not have good vision and the pressure in my eye sometimes is high. Maybe this is due to the sunlight as in the summer we have very strong sun and dust around. I think this is due to the environmental circumstances; in fact I feel no pain. But in the morning I feel a little blurry with cloudy vision.

Dear Pariz

Sorry to hear that you feel that your cataract surgery hasn't settled as well as you had hoped. It seems unlikely that your problems are related to the strong sunlight or dust in the environment. Sometimes, the inflammation following cataract surgery can take a bit longer to settle down. Hopefully time is the only thing that is needed for your eye to recover well.

Kind regards,
Brian
