Blood clot in eye after removal of Cataract floaters (pieces)

by Luise Cunningham

My son had laser-assisted cataract surgery and pieces of the cataract (causing floaters) fell behind the eye. 4 days later he needed another surgery to remove the pieces and now he has a blood clot and was told it will dissolve by itself but he cannot see. How long will it take to dissolve the blood clot and will his vision be restored?
