Second cataract surgery in three days.

I had cataract surgery on Feburary 15 2017. It has been two months ago that I had the right eye done, and still have burning and some pain at the right side of the eye where I think they did the cut. I have been back to the doctor at least 4 times and twice was put on steroid drops, I am supposed to have my left eye done in 3 days, I am wondering if this is something I should be concerned about. People have told me that they would cancel the next surgery until the right eye is painless. Plus my eye pressure is good each time. No scratches or infections each time they checked, had some swelling but after a few week they said slight swelling. Could have something to do with having arthritis in the body, possibly cause swelling. Not sure what to do.
Thank you.

near future left eye surgery
by: Anonymous

Don't do it. If you postpone the surgery on the left eye you are at least stating the fact that you are uncomfortable with the surgery of the right eye. Let things heal completely with the right eye first. I know that it will be a cold day in you know where before I go back to the same surgeon for my left eye. My problem is a curtain effect but at least my vision is of an eagle's eye for distance anyway. Cool your heels on this one, my friend.

Waiting for Second Surgery
by: Anonymous

I'm still dealing with problems with my right eye from cataract surgery almost three years ago. I opted to wait to have my left eye done, and I continue to wait. I'm afraid I will have the same problems with my left eye. I don't believe this surgery is as simple as is claimed. I don't think it will hurt to wait. No need to rush.
